About Mercy

Mercy is a stunning Golden Retriever. I previously showed her as an owner-handler in AKC conformation. She’s done very well in conformation, with many class wins. She has been a wonderful dog to learn with. She’s just beautiful! Her sire is a grand champion and her dam is pointed in conformation. Unfortunately, Mercy doesn’t seem to like showing very much and prefers to be home with our family, so I won’t pursue showing her very much in the future, if at all. Instead, I’ve kept a puppy (Clyde) from her first litter for my next show prospect.

Mercy has a big personality. She is fun loving and exuberant. Everything is a game! She loves fetch, and she fully believes that everyone was put on earth to adore her. She is extremely sweet though, has never met a stranger, and loves to snuggle. She has a high drive for retrieving and an excellent nose for tracking, especially if she’s tracking her ball. She’s just a fun dog to own!

Mercy has passed all recommended OFA health clearances (linked below) and is clear for all testable genetic disorders common to Golden Retrievers. Genetic testing was done via blood draw for better accuracy and performed by UC Davis. She is AKC registered, and all puppies will be registered with the AKC as well.
