Mercy is gorgeous, smart, and fun loving. The best words to describe her personality are loyal, loving, and exuberant. She’s always getting into something, but she is also the biggest cuddle bug. She adores people and is a very sweet, biddable girl.

Mercy has done really well at the class level in AKC conformation with many first place placements with a lot of competition and even at high entry specialty shows (and despite the fact that I was also still very, very new to showing.) Her sire is an AKC Grand Champion and her dam is pointed in AKC conformation. She’s been an awesome girl to learn with as an owner handler. Unfortunately, she doesn’t love to show. She’d rather be playing in the mud on the farm and chasing her ball than tidied up for the show ring. I’m not sure what we’ll do from here, but she’s officially retired now from showing in conformation.

Meet Clyde. This handsome little heartbreaker is my keeper puppy from Mercy’s first litter. He is everything I hoped for and more. With his gorgeous structure and side gate and a happy-go-lucky personality, he is going to be a lot of fun to show. He’s a lot like his sire, Scoop, who by the way was a 2024 Top 20 Golden Retriever in the country!!!

In May, he began his conformation career in amazing style by taking many first place ribbons in the Bred By Puppy classes at the GRCA Central Regional shows. I could not be more excited. I’m looking forward to getting some more time in the ring with this guy. We’re going to have so much fun!

His disposition is fun and sweet with just the right amount of mischief to keep life interesting. He’s never met a stranger, and he’s always ready for fun. He’s got a great nose for tracking like his mother, loves to swim and retrieve, and is a very “birdy” boy. In other words, he’s so Golden.
